ASSISTANT REGIONAL MANAGER
Summary:
Will be responsible for assisting the Regional Manager in achieving the territory annual revenue plan through field support. The intention is to allow the Regional Manager to spend the majority of his time in pursuit of large end user opportunities as well as significant distributor opportunities.
- Assist Regional Manager with on-site distributor sales meetings and on-going field training utilizing the Betco Sales Process to enhance overall selling skills for distributor sales representatives (DSR’s) creating the “multiplier effect”. This can also be done without the RM present.
- Responsible for on-site field training to be coordinated with RM.
- Responsible for dispenser installations and maintenance to be coordinated with RM.
- Responsible for product demonstrations to be coordinated with RM and/or Gold Distributor partner.
- Utilize and maintain the Betco RoadShow trailer stocked with equipment demo inventory, dilution control systems, skin care, and required floor care demonstration materials to perform weekly equipment and product demonstrations with targeted end users. (See Betco RM Trailer program).
- Demo stock management: Financially responsible for all assigned demo inventory.
- Rotate demo stock thru sales every 6 months or less.
- Will have regular interaction with Gold distributor partners at which time he will achieve the following:
- Monitor literature stock
- Create personal relationship with DSR’s
- Train new DSR’s as needed – coordinated through RM.
- Utilize CRM entering all activity to include End User sales calls, Call and Result, Distributor and End User feedback, and Competitor Information etc to align with the sales strategy.
- Will have daily conversation with Regional Manager to recap activities and provide ongoing coordinating of activity.
- Will have a scheduled weekly telephone appointment with DM to provide recap of weekly activities and progress.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree in Business with sales emphasis
3 - 5 years experience in progressive sales management
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook (Calendar/Tasks/Contacts/E-Mail), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Proficient and knowledgeable in Customer Relations tracking software
Strong attention to detail

PRODUCT MANAGER, FLOOR CARE
Responsibilities:
In a support role to the market directors, this position is responsible for overseeing new product development and MOL programs to ensure that required activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s NPD and QFD processes. Responsible for carrying out assigned programs in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets. Coordinates inter-departmental functions in order to achieve assigned program(s) objectives, anticipates potential schedule or priority delays and initiates plans for alternate actions. Meets with team members on a regular basis to review status of programs and to plan future actions to achieve assigned program(s) objectives. Advises management of the program status and issues on a regular basis. Keeps the customer informed on program progress and meets with customers as required to review specific programs. Provides product and market forecasts and commercial support as required. Position requires approximately 20% travel.
Attributes/Skills/Physical Requirements:
- Results oriented with strong leadership and planning skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of the NPD and QFD processes.

Experience/Education Required/Sought:
- Undergraduate degree required, marketing or mechanical engineering preferred.
- 5 – 7 years of product management experience.
- Prior program management experience or training required.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, testing and inspection procedures is highly desired.
- Technical experience would be a definite plus.
- Knowledge of industry is desirable.
- Knowledge of company procedures and processes is desired.

CORPORATE ACCOUNT MANAGER
SUMMARY Responsible for achieving their assigned annual revenue plan in alignment with the overall Corporate Account Strategy of Market penetration supported by Betco branded or private brand chemical and equipment product lines primarily through the Jan / San channel.
Responsibilities: other duties may be assigned as needed by the VP Corporate Accounts.
- Primary responsibility is to grow business through the development of new and existing Corporate Account relationships targeted at the Commercial Retail/Building Service Contractors (BSC’s) and C-Stores.
- Achieve the assigned annual revenue plan, which supports the Market Focus of Commercial Retail/BSC’s and C-Stores. (measurement annual revenue plan).
- Identification and closing of targeted end user accounts supporting the Market Focus (measurement: target list and activity against the list)
- Collect, submit and confirm all necessary information is submitted for a potential customer in order to provide a quote/bid back to the customer.
- Utilizing CRM capture (enter) all activity, Call and Result and Competitor Information in alignment with the sales strategy (measure: target list and activity against the list in CRM)
- Conduct Business Reviews with current end user base semi-annually to review current buying trends and continue to sell the “bundle”.
- Achieve the expense budgets within the Division.
- Responsible for executing the pricing strategies within the Contracts for their respective end-user accounts on a timely basis.
- Responsible for executing the promotion programs delivered by Marketing to the sales organization.
Attributes/Skills/Physical Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (knowledge of Pivot Tables preferred)
- Proficient in Call tracking/Reporting Software
- Conceptual sales skills (desire / ability to sell a concept, in addition to a tangible product)
- Financial and analytical skills, with the understanding P&L and the financial implications of customers situations and concern
Experience/Education Required/Sought::
- Bachelors Degree in Business with sales emphasis
- 7 – 10 years experience in progressive sales management

This individual will be responsible for managing Betco business with distributors in the assigned region, including chemical, equipment, process and programs. Individual is responsible for the growth of all product categories and for handling all questions and training for distributors as well as end users in the assigned region.
A Bachelors Degree in sales, business or related area preferred with five plus years of direct industry sales experience or facilities experience desired. Experience calling on distributors, as well as a proven track record for sales growth in assigned region or territory.
