DIVISION MANAGER – South West Region
SUMMARY
Responsible for achieving the Division annual revenue plan in alignment with the overall Corporate Strategy of Market penetration supported by Betco branded or private brand chemical and equipment product lines primarily through the jan/san channel (includes buying groups) while building end user demand.
RESULTS AND EXPECTATIONS: other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Responsible for developing and executing the divisional sales strategy in support of the Corporate Sales Strategy for Jan/San, including the day to day activities of the Regional Managers.
- Responsible for organizing and staffing the sales force consistent with the Strategy change of Market Focus and End User Focus.
- Achieve the Divisional annual revenue plan, which supports the Market Focus of Education and BSC’s.
- Secure the appropriate number of New Distribution partners to achieve the annual revenue plan.
- Achieve the expense budgets within the Division.
- Responsible for demo stock management within the Division:
- Ensures required turns of the demo stock inventory
- Ensures the financial responsibility by the Regional Manager of company assets
- Responsible for executing the programs to support the new Market focus of Education and BSC’s.
- Responsible for the quality and quantity of the DADR (Different Action/Different Result) activity within the Division to include the entry into CRM.
- Responsible for the utilization of CRM within their division consistent with the overall strategic sales direction.
- Responsible for executing the pricing strategies within the Division for the Distribution Partners.
- Responsible for executing the promotion programs delivered by Marketing to the sales organization.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in Business with sales emphasis
- 7 – 10 years experience in progressive sales management
REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel (knowledge of Pivot Tables preferred)

A Bachelors Degree in sales, business or related area preferred with five plus years of direct industry sales experience or facilities experience desired. Experience calling on distributors, as well as a proven track record for sales growth in assigned region or territory.

SUMMARY
Conducts research and experimentation for new product development and process improvement. Must have experience developing finished coatings products or polymers for use on various flooring substrates including wood, concrete and VCT. Experience with polymers including urethanes, acrylics, epoxies and UV curable is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Self directed and able to conduct projects with minimal supervision.
- Direct activities of technicians and specialists.
- Provide recommendations to QC, QA, and manufacturing concerning test procedures, batch corrections or manufacturing procedures.
- Develop new formulations as requested.
- Modify existing formulations as requested.
- Provide technical assistance to Betco personnel, distributors, end users, government officials and medical personnel.
- Bring new technology to Betco through vendor meetings, trade journals and seminars.
- Review literature such as tech sheets, labels and MSDS’s for accuracy.
- Approve new and alternate raw materials.
- Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and development meetings.
- Conduct tour groups through the laboratory.
- Conduct field testing and troubleshooting when necessary.
- Develop new test methods when necessary.
- Work with other departments to complete projects.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Be able to teach specialized techniques in order to perform testing including but not limited to finish application, surface preparation, and long term monitoring.

- 4 year science degree necessary
- Must have experience in formulating coatings products or polymers, preferably water based urethane wood coatings, UV finishes for flooring, concrete coatings
and VCT finishes.
- Experience in directing activities of others.
- Must be able to function as part of a team or as team leader.

CORPORATE ACCOUNT MANAGER
SUMMARY
Betco is looking for an experienced, aggressive, polished sales professional, who is creative and forward thinking to sell our cleaning products and equipment to a defined list of Top Key Prospects. The Corporate Account Manager is accountable for all aspects of the selling process. This includes initiating contact as well as relationship building and maintenance with Key Decisions Makers. He or she must adhere to established sales goals as defined by Betco business plans and manage time and resources wisely to achieve these targets. The Corporate Manager must be constantly learning and investing time to fully understand the janitorial business and incorporating the sales of new programs as they become available.
Essential Functions and Qualifications:
A true Sales Hunter with demonstrated history of seeking out, establishing and maintaining strong
relationships with key decision makers in top 100 prospects in a defined geographic area. Strong
comfort-level in selling and communicating to Senior Operations, Procurement, Facilities
Operations, Distribution and other stake-holders and team leaders in many market segments and
geography.
Strong Experience selling to Top Prospects - across multiple markets segments including –
Retail (Food & Non-Food), Healthcare (Acute Care and Long Term Care), Building Service
Contractors and Janitorial Distributors.
Visualize equipment and concepts that can improve customers cleaning operations, efficiency,
and safety, and create a sales opportunity for Betco and its extensive line of products and
equipment.
Financial and analytical skills, with the understanding of P&L and the financial implications of customers situations and concern.
Interpersonal Savvy: Relates well to all kinds of people, up, down, inside and outside the organization; builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact; can diffuse even high-tension situations comfortably.
Written/Verbal Communications: Is able to write & speak eloquently, clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles; can get messages across that have the desired effect.
An executive who requires little direction to make big things happen, knows where to spend their
Time wisely supporting the biggest return and possesses strong market and sales planning skills.
Be receptive to feedback from both the customer and Betco leadership in adjusting the sales plan
to best serve sales opportunities. Being the voice of the customer while advising Betco in the best
direction to support the company being a continued market leader.
Lead sales initiatives for new and multiple existing offerings. A quick learner who can quickly incorporate new offerings into the value proposition. Strong communication skills both in written and oral.
Ability to create and manage prospect lists, proposals, roll-out programs and other
communication critical for both internal and external customers and demonstrate strong accountability in all aspects of this critical company role.
Provide leadership to the Distributor Sales Team where needed, implement, support and communicate a strong company mission and Winning Team Spirit. This leadership generates excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to the entire team.
Ability to work from a remote office and provide accurate account information on CRM to Betco
Senior Management while communicating the Betco message to the customer via phone email and in person.
Plan, Oversee and execute sales plans to insure that sales targets are met with regard to the Funnel and budget requirements.
Work with minimal direction to develop and implement account relationships, equipment
concepts, sales goals, and rollout projects as detailed above.
This position requires high level of travel flexibility (50%+) to visit prospects and customer accounts for sales presentations and meetings in the yet to be defined territory. You must be able to manage your time wisely to serve the selling process while balancing customer needs and managing expenses effectively.
Ability to lead by example, during systems and equipment testing and installation. Willingness to work along side with customers to learn the business and demonstrate best practices where necessary.
Must have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills and possess the ability and
confidence to identify and sell-in pricing strategies to customer base.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience: The position requires 7-10 years of combined sales and account executive management experience coupled with direct contact with customers ranging from Janitorial & Housekeeping Staff to VP and Senior Level Key Decision Makers. Experience selling in varied markets, demonstrated ability to adapt to different types of people and geography. Demonstrated sales success and target achievements, planning and management, small and large scale sales initiatives, and conceptual selling design. Demonstrated examples of leadership, sales initiative and fostering a Team environment. Significant use of CRM platforms including SalesForce.com and Microsoft CRM.
- Education: Preferred candidate will have at a minimum a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sciences and documented training and experience in sales and communication.
- Skills: Ability to plan, execute and adhere to sales budget; ability to effectively handle customer-related complaints and issues; strong customer negotiation skills; ability to stay abreast of changing economic conditions affecting short and long term business strategies; ability to prioritize and delegate work; ability understand janitorial and cleaning operations and processes, conceptualize products and equipment that can improve the customers process; ability to adhere to a strict timeline; ability to prepare written communications skills concisely and coherently; ability to analyze numerical and sales data utilizing statistical analysis capabilities; ability to develop a climate of enthusiasm, teamwork and cooperation among Betco Teammates; ability to interact with customers effectively and build rapport; ability to give presentations in front of customers and/or a large group; ability to supervise other employees by motivating, encouraging, defining performance standards, recommending courses of action, training, delegating and resolving conflict; ability to be punctual and manage time effectively; ability to pay close attention to detail.
