Betco® is proud to announce that Doug Sheldon has joined the Senior Management and Operations Teams as Chief Operations Officer. In his new role, he will work with President Brad Betz and other company executives to implement Betco’s strategic vision and values, as well as lead the Operations Team, consisting of sourcing, human resources, quality, customer service, inventory, safety, and plant operations.
Doug joins Betco after over 30 years of experience at a chemical company and most recently leading a biotechnology manufacturing company. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Chemical Engineering and also completed a graduate degree in Business Administration and Management.
“I look forward to leading the Operations Team and leveraging my past experiences to continue to push Betco in the right direction,” Doug said. “I have really enjoyed learning all aspects of how the organization functions as a whole, and meeting everyone who is responsible for keeping Betco safe, efficient, and profitable.”
